My husband and I stayed at Club Del Sol in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica.

The experience was superb. It is, in our opinion, one of the best places to vacation and simply enjoy life.

My husband and I stayed at Club Del Sol in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica.

The experience was superb. It is, in our opinion, one of the best places to vacation and simply enjoy life.

All the suites face the exotic gardens and the pool, which has a waterfall in the center.

The suites are impecable......and the best thing is that all you have to bring is your bathing suit and toothbrush. The kitchens are equipped with everything you can possible need, including the corkscrew.

The staff is wonderful.....from the Managers to the Security Guard, everyone is at your beck and call. We felt like we were the only ones at the hotel.

It is only 1/2 block from the beach, with exquisite waves for surfing. Also, it is very close to the downtown area of Jaco, but far enough that you are not in the center of the hustle and bustle of a vacation town.

We definitely recommend Club del Sol, to anyone wanting an amazing eco-friendly vacation.

I could not belive how beautiful the property was.I came to Jaco on a business trip to buy real estate and my manangement company made reservations for me.I had no idea that i would be catered to in such an elegant manor.The staff,the security,the kitchen,the balconies,the king size bed,the in room safe,the proximity to the town and beach were all available to me for a very low price.I traveled to Jaco alone this time,but on my next visit to check out the two(2)properties that i purchased,I will be bringing along some friends to Club del Sol.

After scouring the Internet, trying to find a reasonably priced condo near a beach which was available during the incredibly busy time of Semana Santa, Club del Sol happily fit the bill. Then, to make things even better we were able to modify our reservation to receive a AAA discount and Julieta made herself available to set up everything we needed for our stay. All seemed perfect and ready to go for my mother's visit to Costa Rica. Well, as luck would have it my mom ended up coming down with a bad case of food poisoning and suddenly our plans to go to the beach were up in the air as we had no idea when she would feel better. Julieta and Club del Sol were awesome in working with us and in the end, even though we never got to go, they helped make a disappointing vacation a little less painful simply because we never had to hear the word "policy." They worked with us and our situation like we were unique and for that simple reason I felt compelled to write this positive review even though we never set foot in their location. We will make plans to go again though, that is a definite!

We just stayed here last week. We fell in love with the place from minute one. The condos are very, very clean and the staff was wonderful. We'll be coming back in June. Can't wait.

“Quiet location away from the main street”

Club del Sol

We stayed at three different hotels in Jaco and this was our favorite spot by far. We will definitely be returning to Club del Sol for our next visit to Jaco. The location is at the far south end of Jaco Beach away from the main street and busiest part of Jaco There are no bad locations of any of the rooms - each looks onto the garden and pool area. Rooms are spacious with everything you would need in a condo and decorated very tastefully. Club del Sol felt like a home away from home and was much nicer than we expected. Guests also have access to the Club del Mar down the street which is located on the beach. Walking distance to the beach is 3 minutes. We felt MUCH safer here than we did on the main street in Jaco and would highly recommend it to families. Hotel staff were very friendly. Pool is warm and clean. A very nice place.

We had another great stay at Club Del Sol. After many stays, and seeing many of the other condos our favorite is 111, because it sleeps up to 7 people. All the condos are great, but if you need a condo that holds more people, I think it is the only one that sleeps that many. I was sad that the soda closed across the street, but there are other great options. The management is so helpful. We love the security. It is like your own intimate vacation home.

My two sisters and I booked Club Del Sol at the last minute after our 14-day cruise in Costa Rica had been cancelled. What a wonderful surprise we got!

The condo was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The management of the complex, in particular Johnny was fantastic! He was able to recommend many great day adventures for us and was helpful in any request we had. The pool is always warm and welcoming and the grounds are beautifully maintained.

The condo was very close to town and we would walk there with regularity. But beware to make sure you start that walk early (before 9am) in the morning as the temperatures heat up quickly in Costa Rica. Then after a casual shopping we would take a taxi back to the condo (a whopping $2 ride including three people and many shopping bags! And that included tip!).

The management of the condo made many trip outing for us including canopy tours(2), catamaran sails(2) and a great coffee tour on our way to the airport on the day of our departure! It was a fantasic vacation and I would recommend it for all!

We love Club del Sol. Our family has stayed there 3 times. We live in San Jose, so Jaco is an easy drive for us. Every time we go, we stay at Club del Sol. The rooms are large, clean, the beds are comfy and there are even cartoons in English for our kids!!!! The pool is great, and the decks are very nice and relaxing too. You can walk about 1 1/2 blocks to the beach or you can drive and park there. The beach is not busy and is great for kids. I have seen many of the local "dives" and I wouldn't go near them. You will not be disappointed in Club del Sol.

“Beautiful, modern, comfortable condos!”

This brand new condo complex of 16 condos, set just south of Jaco, 1.5 blocks from the beach are gorgeous, modern, clean and have fantastically strong A/C. Each condo is 2br/2ba with vaulted ceilings, full kitchens (oven/stove, coffee maker, blender, full fridge, & granite counter tops), large TVs with several English stations, washer/dryer in each unit (laundry detergent also supplied), two balconies or porches with sliding glass doors and full sliding screen doors and all facing inward on a small lovely pool with waterfall and manicured grounds with BBQ facilities and lounging areas -- great for a group, there were 20+ of us traveling together. The master bath had double sinks and a large tiled shower, shampoo, conditioner & soap. Club del Sol is associated with Club del Mar (set directly on the beach) and looks very similar – staying at Club del Sol allowed us to utilize all services at Club del Mar (pool, lounge chairs, spa, restaurant). I had also gotten a great group rate, $118/nt per condo for double occupancy, including taxes! It was around 7pm when we arrived and a staff member was awaiting us in the office, all of the staff was extremely nice & helpful, she just gave us all the keys and said we could settle the paperwork anytime before we left – great! There’s a security guard on site who helped us all with our luggage and finding each room. The A/C in each condo was blasting which along with the tiled floors and ceiling fans kept the condos wonderfully cool. These condos were much bigger then we needed, but allowed a great escape from the heat of the day & group gatherings. Looking out from our condo you could see lush hillsides, some power lines and a good number of birds. The most "Americanized" hotel we stayed in on our 3+wk trip to CR. Only minutes from Jaco which had a great selection of restaurants & shops and didn't seem nearly as "seedy" as others have reported. It was very easy to walk to the beach from the condos & the south end of Jaco beach is relatively clean and very quiet, but the sand is HOT!

Club del Sol was wonderful! If we ever travel to Jaco again, I would definitely book this place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The condos are big and clean. Cleaning service everyday and security every night. Washer/dryer and full kitchen in condo. Airconditioning. Grounds are beautiful and great pool. Beach one block from hotel. Hotel in safe and quiet location. Excellent stay!

Club del Sol is a beautiful, serene setting for your time in Costa Rica. Julietta and Bonnie in the office are very informative and provide wonderful recommendations for tours and restaurants. Whether you want to simply sit by the pool or on your private patio or see the sites in Costa Rica, this is a wonderful place and location to stay. The condo was very spacious whether it is only two of you or your whole family.

The tours that Club del Sol set up for us were great and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

We would highly recommend Club del Sol and we look forward to returing in the future.

Happened to stayed at Club del Sol by default because other hotels I initally looked at didn't have enough space for 4 people or was too expensive. This place is just right for a small group of friends or family with kids. It really felt like I was staying at someone's house (except it comes with daily cleaning service). Very cozy. The 2 bedroom/2 bath condo was spacious with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay (washer/dryer, kitchen with microwave, TV, abundant AC, etc.) The pool is small but nice. Since it's a small complex it is never crowded. There are no restuarants, but even though it's not on the 'strip' of Jaco, it's only a short drive away (about 5 mins). For the price of this place, it's definitely worth it.

WOW to this place. HUGE rooms, built for like two families (one condo). Very luxurious, you can find everything in these condos: washer, dryer, full kitchen (with microwave, toaster), WIFI (free), T.V. (and DVD player), rooms stay real cold. BEWARE No restaurant BEWARE Not on the beach. On the good side, the tiny market is right around the corner, the beach is only a block and a half walk.

This new condominimum complex is luxurious but with reasonable prices. Just about a 2 minute walk from the Pacific, Jaco is the most popular beach for Tico's from San Jose. Club del Sol has a nice pool with waterfall and is gated with security at dusk. There is a small mercado next door and surfboard rentals across the street. They have weekly rentals and airport transfers are available for larger groups. Our stay was fun and it's a great place for families with kids.

We really enjoyed our stay at Club Del Sol. The office was inviting and friendly. This is a quiet resort, located 2 blocks from the beautiful black sand Jaco beach and has a beautiful waterfall pool. This property is located across the street from a surf shop and convenient grocery store. These privately owned 2 bedroom units are exquisitely furnished, and provide the home away from home comforts with full kitchens and washer/dryers. This property does not have a restaurant, but there are plenty of dining choices in the area and this is just block away from Club Del Mar, offering spa and restaurant.

Parking is secured and there is always security on site. Not that we felt it was needed by any means. A car is not necessary, taxis are cheap and affordable, Jaco is about $3usd each way.
